Politics
A few things I've run across today in between trying to wrestle data in and out of sql tables:
Freeway Blogger. People intent on using their rights to free speech on your local interstate.
The political is personal - a heartbreaking account of a woman who's husband is dying of cancer, and who has no money.
The NYT thinks about class. I only read the first few pages of this (I do have work to do, after all), but it's interesting, and I hope to finish it.
